

As a director, choreographer, performer, and educator, Bethany has worked off-Broadway, on national tours, at regional theatres, and in universities. Bethany recently worked as assistant choreographer to Josh Bergasse on Up Here at La Jolla Playhouse. She also worked on the pre-Broadway production of Secondhand Lions at the 5th Avenue Theatre with director Scott Schwartz and choreographer Josh Bergasse. Bethany directed and choreographed the first NYC revival of Songs For a New World (York Theatre). She also choreographed and performed in 21st Century Noel (Lincoln Center) directed by Larry Fuller. Bethany worked as associate choreographer to Donald Saddler on the Oscar Hammerstein Awards (York Theatre), and assisted Larry Fuller on the national tour of Evita. She served as associate director/choreographer to Bob Durkin on A Christmas Carol and I Love a Piano (Gateway Playhouse) and choreographed the Disney workshop of Stephen Schwartz's My Son Pinocchio.
Bethany was an apprentice at The Broadway Theatre Project where she studied under Ann Reinking, Gregory Hines, and Gwen Verdon. She is an alumnus and assistant professor at Marymount Manhattan College where she teaches dance, Scene into Song, Musical Theatre Techniques, and Musical Theatre History. Bethany holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University. Bethany is a proud member of SDC.
